Specimen Requirements

Container Type: Plain Serum Tube (Red Top)
Specimen Type: Serum
Preferred Volume: 1 mL
Emergency Minimum Volume: 0.3 mL
Collection Procedure: Draw trough specimen within 30 minutes prior to infusion. Draw peak specimen 90 minutes after IV infusion completed or 60 minutes after the IM dose is given.  Do not draw in a tube with a gel separator.
Specimen Processing: Separate serum from cells as soon as possible by centrifugation. Store and transport refrigerated.
Required Patient Info: Trough or peak specimen, Note times of dose and draw.

Stability:
